Tasbih islamique
Tasbih islamique
The Islamic tasbih, also known as the Muslim rosary, is a devotional instrument widely used in the spiritual practice of Islam. Made up of beads generally arranged in series of 33 or 99, the tasbih is used by believers to count the repetitions of sacred formulas, generally glorifications or praises to Allah.
This symbolic object is often made from wooden beads, semi-precious stones or natural materials. Muslims hold the tasbih between their fingers while reciting the invocation, allowing for pious meditation and spiritual focus. Tasbih is used in various religious practices, including personal prayer, meditation, and seeking divine closeness.
By reciting the names of Allah or other sacred formulas, believers strengthen their spiritual connection and seek inner peace. The Islamic tasbih thus embodies devotion, contemplation and the search for the divine presence in the daily life of Muslim believers.
